Think the budget line, not the top ;) This device does it all, performs well and is built to last (if you know how to use it). All main stones emit abrasive particles when sharpened. More cheap than expensive. If you do not pay special attention to this device every time you sharpen it, rusting may occur. When finished, rinse under cold tap water, use ivory liquid to lightly clean (doesn't make black material sticky if post-cleaned like Don (sp?)), rinse well again, dry spray it with an air gun with a nozzle and spray my wife's vegetable or canola cooking spray, wipe halfway dry, put in an unsealed ziplock bag and use for the rest of your life :) and water throughout Process water on the stone. I couldn't be happier with my savings ;)
