UPDATE: The official part has arrived and will now be installed in place of the hack I built. The official part is blue instead of black as shown in the Revain product image. It's also shaped differently. Can't tell if it's a 'better' design per se, but it feels thicker and less likely to break. Read on if you're interested in the hack. This review is actually a "hack" that serves as a functional alternative to the RP60911 clamp. (Others may consider this a temporary fix until the OEM part arrives). Read on. I bought my Revain clamp, she got it yesterday and it's on the way so i'll update my review as soon as i get it.sorry the 3 first review if it's misleading in any way i just don't have time to wait to offer this useful life hack, without judging the product. The simple hack only requires a 1.25" binding clip to attach to the faucet hose and faucet outlet. This will be your RP60911 clip while you either wait for the actual part or just make it permanent See attached photo If you are still reading this review, my problems only started yesterday when my wife suddenly noticed that the faucet stopped flowing s and copious amounts of water splashed in the sink below. Surprise - our faucet hose has come loose from the faucet spout. It took me a few minutes to realize that the clip that was *should* be there isn't there anymore. Without a clamp, the faucet hose came loose within seconds of turning the water on (and yes, both grommets were present on the faucet outlet). I didn't have a replacement clip (and not an original OEM part) so I had to come up with a hack until a replacement arrived. The faucet was installed by someone else so to be honest I have no idea if they messed it up with an OEM clamp. The clip (and fragments of it) was nowhere under my sink, so I can only assume it wasn't there to begin with. Surprisingly, it has never turned itself off in the 18 months since it was installed - until yesterday. So I hope my little hack will help you while you wait for a spare part. I love this hack so much I might even leave it there instead of the OEM part as other online reviews (like HomeDepot) talk about its fragile nature leading to flooding.
