About 2 weeks ago I had trouble driving the car at low speeds, the car wouldn't accelerate and stalled while driving. (All of this happened after a 20 minute stop from driving). I got a few random errors like low engine oil pressure, check engine light, error code P0087. Luckily, after a few restarts, the car ran without any problems. I did a little research on the internet and found that the fuel pressure sensors need to be replaced. I replaced this low pressure fuel gauge (Motorcraft CM5250) and haven't had any more problems (the amazon auto repair shop said it doesn't fit the Lincoln MKZ 2.0 but it does). This is an easy DIY job. Attached is a photo of where the sensor is located. Hope that helps!
