Review on ☕ Stylish and Functional: Ello Jane Ceramic Travel Mug with Slider Lid by Michael Pickering

I bought this mug hoping that as a ceramic mug I could take my morning coffee to work without adding or subtracting flavors. There are some great travel mugs and glasses out there at a range of prices, but most are either plastic or metal. The mug itself is beautifully made and very solid but not so heavy that it's too heavy. Except for the silicone sleeve attached to the bottom, everything is ceramic, not plastic. The mug is advertised as leakproof, but while I was happy with the lid, I haven't had a situation to test it. Work in 20 minutes in conditions I would hardly describe as cold. The second ride with a hot water rinse before departure was no better. A colleague of mine with the same mug had trouble claiming the seal, although that never happened to me. This is a very good mug, but it's not for every trip. If you drink coffee or tea straight after pouring it, it's better to take it with you to the balcony, garden or morning housework on cool days. However, its heat transfer is too strong so it cools down quickly and while it's hot I wouldn't wear it for anything other than a handle.
