Use a cutter to cut a groove in the bottom of a barn door for a bottom track. The door is made of pine and this piece is carved as if it weren't there. I have a pretty solid Porter wire cutter with three hard carbide teeth that cuts smoothly and aggressively. I love it. It's also worth the money for my everyday use. Great tact. Two things to watch out for (no problem, be aware). This is a 1/2 inch bit. My router has interchangeable collets, that's no problem for me. I managed to get a few dents on the edge of the door because I had the shank too deep in the collet and just taped the lock nut down when adjusting the depth from the edge of the door. I just had to be careful, no big deal but you can make a mess if you're not careful.
