Never thought this device would be so useful. Cooking becomes less of a chore because you don't have to worry about cleaning as much. Basically, you can cook anything in oil without worrying about fat splattering on the stove. It's also very easy to clean as it's non-stick and it's all very easy to remove with a sponge and some washing up liquid. The main advantages over a lid are that food does not evaporate, very easy to clean, much lighter and easier to store. You can get a slight steaming effect depending on what you're cooking, but it's so minimal I can't take a star off my rating for that. Durability can be an issue if you're not careful with it as the grip feels a little flimsy. , I would not put heavy food on the home screen as shown in some photos. But for the purpose I bought it for, which is not to make a greasy mess every time I cook, it's beyond perfect and I would recommend it to anyone.
