This is such a wonderful invention! I'm the only adult in the family, so chores like installing smoke detectors fall on me. And I'm NOT talented in this area. Thank you for creating them! You simply attach one piece to the ceiling, one piece to the smoke detector and you're done. Don't swear, don't throw objects in desperation (or maybe I'm the only one who does when I'm frustrated with such a task). A note: you can't hang it on the wall because the magnet isn't THAT strong. and the smoke detector slips off immediately. The ceiling is definitely better as it doesn't take up space. I recommend.
