I bought this to help with my heel. It has a tendency to ache sometimes when I'm in a cramped position for too long or put too much pressure on my legs during the day. Helps mostly when washing dishes as I have a sink with a lower head, so it causes me to bend over in an an uncomfortable position at times, but while wearing these, I don't feel a thing.My only issue with this is that it took so much forceful pushing to fit it into my shoe of the same size. I bought according to the scale, but there still seemed to be a bit of excess material overall. The ability to cut this down to size, is good, though, and if you work slowly, you can make this 100% custom fitted.Once in, though, my feet felt great and I felt almost no pain at all throughout the day, with or without socks. I would suggest this as a gift to anyone who is nearly always on their feet or anyone who enjoys hiking or any physical activity that involves a ton of leg power. Would also be good with anyone who needs that additional bit of arch support as I've felt great improvement with mine.
