We have laminate, tile and hardwood floors in our house: no carpets, only a few area rugs. Given the size of our premises, my focus is always on finding a good, reliable and easy-to-use floor cleaning solution. When I saw the design of the mop head in the description, I noticed three things: 1. The design of the mop head is smoother, spongy and ribbed, so it should clean quite well. 2. The self-rolling slot is adjustable and has a brush to remove pet hair, etc.3. All packaging is conveniently sized for storage and use. I really like the mop for all of the reasons above, but I quickly learned that to "push" the mop head out you have to snap the mop head perpendicular to the pole and slide it up and down the bucket. Then remove the mop, turn your head in the opposite direction and repeat the process. It is not possible to rinse or clean the entire mop head at once. This means that the plus points of saving time and being untidy have now been wiped out again. In general, the mop cleans normally. Cleaning the bucket is a challenge due to the design of the lid. Note that you need to empty and wash the bucket, then fill it with dishwater to rinse out the mop, and then wash the bucket again when you're done. Again, I think it was better in concept than in practice. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't order it again. I like the design and material of the mop head.
