Review on EVISTR Digital Voice Recorder 8GB L53-1536KBPS Stereo Audio: Portable Recorder for Lectures with External MIC Support by Eric Smithlin

Purchased in April to plan an online class I will be teaching this fall. Played with him, he signed up so I didn't think about it anymore. The menu is bulky but manageable. Steel body, it seems solid! Now I have recorded the lessons I taught for my students but I cannot transfer the files from the device to my computer. The connected voice recorder is not recognized by the PC. The Mac doesn't see it as a drive either. They quickly sent a replacement that works. I am completely satisfied and recommend this recorder to everyone who needs it! One thing I learned is that you need to make sure you're using the USB cable that came with it. Other cables may fit and charge the device, but it seems the included cable is something special, it allows for data transfer and charging. Just any USB cable will not work.
