Review on Continental ContiPremiumContact 5 215/55 R17 94V summer by Wiktor Lipski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

In the fall they planned a vacation and decided that the best enemy of the good and purchased a pair of SSRS5 17, 225/55, put it forward, leaving the old ones with a tread of approx 4 mm behind; the old ones had a size of 17, 215/55 and had departed 4 seasons of about 65,000 miles; the remaining tread was 4 millimeters. Rubber performs exactly as advertised. Approximately 2-3 mm remained on the rear when I sped off for 8500 kilometers on holiday, and approximately 1-1.5 mm was also worn off the front. On the way back, while fully loaded, I careened off the road and into a decent-sized pit on my left side; a minibus was nearby, its two damaged wheels being repaired; I had tfu, tfu, tfu, and everything is good. Nothing like the wheels hitting, everything was good as we drove the remaining 3,500 kilometers to the house. After returning home, I drove another 1,500 kilometers before switching to winter tires and seeing that the alloy wheels were somewhat bent on the inside. However, the new SSRS5, which is virtually entirely bridled SSRS2, is great. In the bar, the buzzing was rectified with disks and rubber. By the way, the sidewall appears to be somewhat weak to one observer. I should clarify that when I go a great distance, I inflate each of my tires to 2.6 atmospheres. In the city, I have approximately 2.4. I put in an order for some more SSRS5 wheels the other day. In light of the cost and standard.

Pros
  • Tires in the 17x225/55 Y size are top-notch all over; the car drives like a dream and handles corners with ease.
Cons
  • Not located
