Review on 🚪 Toddleroo by North States Essential Stairway & Walkway Baby Gate - 40.55" Wide Hardware Mount, Ideal for Standard Stairways (24.5" - 40.55" Wide, 30" Tall, White) by Nancy Knudsen

This is one of several baby gates we have purchased for our pets over the years. The gate and hinges are of good quality. Swings easily. But the locking mechanism is not very good. You have to press the button while sliding the gate into the mechanism and it's difficult to get to the right place. With the other two swing gates we currently have you can just close the gate with the gate and it will lock by itself but not this one. Sometimes I even manage to get the bar out of the gate on the wrong side of the bolt (I never know how that happens) and then it's not so easy to get it back on the right side. We'll get by for now, but I wouldn't buy another one due to locking issues.
