At first the filter was great, I kept it in my room almost continuously for several months without any problems. I also smudge in my room and this cleaner does a great job on lingering odors. Also noticed a difference in the air quality in my room. A few months later I realize I need to change the filter so I look for it at Revain - sold out, visit their website - sold out. I search all over the internet - NOTHING. Apparently the filter they use is imported, which isn't usually a problem when we can actually get them when we need them. But no, it makes no sense. And every other filter on the internet doesn't meet the specs either, so you can't buy another brand and replace with this one because there is literally no other filter of the same size.
