This was probably one of the best and easiest print servers I have ever used. It was easy install, simple instructions. After unboxing, the packaging was intact and what was shown on the website. All connections were quick and easy. The router used Netgear N300, Brother MFC 240C printer. The default IP address wasn't part of my router scheme, its default value is 192.168.0.1 (I always change the router scheme, but I got lazy and just use the built-in private, I always change the routers to check it ), so I had to replace it with the included CD. I didn't have to install the utility, I just ran it from the CD. Created a new static IP address, saved it and did a successful test print. My XP PC had no connection problems, I had to enter the IP address manually even though it wasn't on the watch list yet. My Win7 64-bit was the same, but took longer to connect, no idea why, but successfully after 3 minutes. Another tip: You should check other print servers for compatibility with the printer, I didn't find any with this one.
