Oral care has a different taste

My daughter has been using this product for many years. We always bought it from her dentist, it's a lot cheaper. But this time she used up her toothpaste before the next visit, so I bought it from this seller. However, she told me that the taste is very different and she doesn't like it. I don't understand why there is such a difference in taste when it's the same brand.
