I live in Alaska and obviously assumed that when the description said this unit came preloaded with US maps, Alaska was included because guess what Garmin, ALASKA LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES! That's right folks, we've been one state since 1959. Look at the map. There we are right there with the rest of the US. We're not drawn to scale because it makes Texas uncomfortable, but we're on the map. Now it has been revealed that there is another device that contains maps of Canada and is more expensive, but actually contains Alaska. ALASKA IS NOT IN CANADA! I repeat, Alaska is not in Canada! I can't believe I have to tell you this. We're going on a trip now and I don't have time to return this and buy another device. It is very depressing to realize that my GPS, which claims to come preloaded with US lifetime maps, actually misses 18.2% of the US. Yes, it's definitely a Garmin. Alaska is 18.2% of the freaking United States, and not only didn't you deliver it, you expect me to pay extra for all of Canada just to get the 18.2% you didn't deliver. How the heck do you manage to cut almost 1/5 of the promised product to your customers? Go to Garmin school. Find out. I'm sick of discrimination because I live in Alaska.
