I recently installed Hikari LED bulbs in my 2010 Volkswagen Passat. I knew I needed them so I ordered them at the same time as the bulbs. At first I tested without them, every few minutes the machine gave an error that the bulb was dead (as expected). In fact, the light never went out and never flickered. After testing, I installed canbus resistors for LED headlights and found them to work great. It was like that until I got on the freeway. The error reappeared, but only for the front left low beam. It doesn't happen all at once or on a regular schedule, but it does happen at least 2-4 times on the way to work (about a 25 minute drive). I love the look of LED lights but don't want to deal with them. Instrument lights come on. Discussion if I just want to return the resistor or return everything and look at something else.
