Ballast Resistors Type

I recently installed Hikari LED bulbs in my 2010 Volkswagen Passat. I knew I needed them so I ordered them at the same time as the bulbs. At first I tested without them, every few minutes the machine gave an error that the bulb was dead (as expected). In fact, the light never went out and never flickered. Both blew up after 2 days of use.

After installation…

Doesn't work on 2008 Subaru Outback

I bought Hikari H7 headlights, 9005 high beams and 9006 fog lights for my 2008 Subaru Outback. When I turned the lights off, only the high beams flickered (they technically turn on and off very quickly). Upon examination, it appears that the flickering is due to either a lack of power or a communication failure between the car's computer and the headlight's electrical system. I bought three matching Hikari resistors - one set for H7 bulbs, one set for 9006 bulbs and another set for 9005 bulbs…
