Amcrest NV4116-HS works well with Foscam C1 when the cameras are in ONVIF mode. Just don't forget to enable this mode on the cameras and customize the ONVIF ports (this mode is disabled on the cameras by default or after a hard reset). These settings allow Amcrest software for Android (Amcrest View Pro) and Windows (Chrome browser app) to also display live feeds from these cameras. You can save the default IP port settings on the cameras to use Foscam software or 3rd party software at the same time. I haven't tried the area alarm so I can't confirm if this feature works with Foscam or not. The fan is very noisy, so I replaced it with a Noctua NF-A4x20 FLX with Low Noise Adapter (included with the fan) and removed the (cut out) fan grill - silent! WD Purple 4TB Surveillance Silent hard drive and that's enough for me.
