This is the best book lamp I have ever had and I have had many. I'll list the features and you can jump to anything you want to know about! BRIGHTNESS/HUE: EXCELLENT. I love that this light can be set to either amber or white which is fantastic as there can be situations where I need one or the other! The fact that I can adjust the brightness is also helpful. I can make the light as bright or dim as I need for a specific environment or situation. Another plus of the light itself is that there is NO "spotlight" effect or flash focus whereby part of the book page is illuminated by the light while the other part of the page is in darkness. The light is distributed nicely evenly. It was well thought out! SIZE/WEIGHT: Pretty light. The base might be a bit chunky or big, but not uncomfortable. The large base really helps because the light will stand on its own on my mattress meaning I don't really have to attach it to my books when I'm reading in bed. :) CHARGE: The jury is still out as I haven't used it long enough to form an opinion. I will update soon. VALUE: unbeatable price. I can't believe how affordable yet seemingly high quality this light is. I also like that it comes with a carry case and charger. And also that it arrives fully charged and ready to use! Conclusion: I highly recommend this book light to all readers!
