I had some of these when I was in the army in 2013. I stopped buying them when I left the army and started wearing UA socks which were great for a crane operator. Fast forward to when I became a linear manipulator apprentice and tried to figure out why the heck my ankles, feet, knees and back were killing me the way they used to. this can not be true. I bought eight pairs of these. Today I put on a set and man I completely forgot how cool they are. Much more comfortable, much less irritation due to the wicking and length, and I feel a lot less chafed today. If I remember correctly the durability was good, but I'll check again. It's not cheap, but definitely cheaper than adding another set of boots to my stable!
