I bought this to pair with a new 5600G for my HTPC and decided if a BIOS -Update is required, I've already decided I'd have a Ryzen 3200 that I could pull from another system for a minute. It turns out that for some reason you need a specific type of AM4 chip and the 3200 doesn't fit. So 2 computers apart, lots of time and wasted thermal paste, and now I'm researching again which MoBo can support 5600G out of the box. Very annoying because there are probably a lot of people who don't even have a "backup" Ryzen. The processor used to flash the BIOS. Don't buy this board until you know the BIOS has been updated for you and make sure your board is already flashed no matter what you buy. And I know it's UEFI, but for me it's always going to be BIOS, bros
