Read other reviews after ordering and let me guide you. This beveling tool works absolutely perfectly, the low cost is just a bonus. I work as an apprentice automotive repairer and don't have time for tools that don't do the job they were designed for. As soon as I got it to work and opened the package I threw it in my 1/2" Aircat air drill, the low RPM and torque of this drill separates men from boys. The first task was to test it. On the designated one Material a piece of threaded rod 1/2" worked fine, in fact it worked so well I took a black oxidized 5/16-18 socket head cap screw which is rated 20% higher than a grade 8 beveled end tool of that screw with very little Expenditure. The machinist in me wants to speak out to those with little experience. Just like the opposite, the coning tool must be run at low speed for best results, these tools are made of high speed steel and not carbide. 60-250 rpm is ideal for beveling and countersinking metals and extremely hard materials. Good luck and if you are unlucky with this, try again at a lower speed
