Technically it deburrs but I'm talking light deburring if you cut off a 1/2 inch piece of emt with a hacksaw for example, after about 45 seconds or a minute it will eventually rub off the burrs . away, it is not cut in any shape, form or fashion. It's quicker to follow the old electrician's method with deburring pliers, deburring the outside of the jaws of the pliers and deburring the inside of the handles.
