Review on Hawk Performance HB173F 570 Ceramic Brake by Ryan Gilliam

Last year I put a set of HPS pads on my C4. On the first trip to the ADC Automobile Museum in Fort Wayne, one of the rear anti-squeak pads came off and landed on my rotor making a terrible noise. After returning home and working with HAWK, the pads were replaced under warranty. Later that year the front anti-squeak pads did the same, and now, just a few weeks ago, the rear ones started to delaminate and fall out of the caliper. At that point, I was fed up with the brake dust and wasn't happy with the braking performance, so I took it off and threw it away. I've since replaced them with another brand's "yellow pads" and have been happy with that decision as far as the braking performance is better and the quality/design of the new pads is better.
