Review on Wool Socks, RTZAT Merino Wool Hiking Outdoor Cushioned Thermal Thick Moisture Wicking Athletic Crew Socks by Brad Cash

Revainrating 5 out of 5

You get what you pay for

I work 12hr shifts, like most Americans, so in work boots 14hr’s a day. For me and most of the folks I work with wool socks are a must. They breathe a 100 times better than cotton socks and provide a little extra cushion. These are not cheap 5 for $5.00 socks. Average going rate on good wool socks are $10 - 20 a pair. These are consistent with other brands that I have purchased in quality and cost. Pairs last around 3 years.

Pros
  • Versatile: Aside from hiking and outdoor adventures, these socks are also great for everyday wear. They can be used for any type of activity that requires warmth, cushioning, and support, such as running, cycling, and even lounging around the house
Cons
  • Wool socks may not be suitable for people who prefer to wear vegan or animal-free materials
