Then you've probably landed here. If your Nissan car or truck's air conditioning/heating only works on the maximum setting, you need this product. This is an incredibly simple product - a resistor. A circuit board with resistors for settings 1, 2 and 3 of your air conditioner or heater that will slow down the fan motor when you don't want it running at full power. The good news is that it works. The board itself is slightly smaller than the OEM part that came with my 2000 Nissan Frontier, but it appears to have the same functionality as the OEM part, which will cost you $49 at the dealer. Perfect for the right slot. Installation is very simple - mine was under the dash in the passenger footwell - remove the cable and two Phillips screws to pry out the old part. Total installation time was about 4 minutes. It does seem a little slower than the OEM part at low settings, but not enough to justify the cost. For about half the price here on Amazon, you can't go wrong. .
