I now have four of these rugs. I mainly use them to hang my tools from my metal railings. But they're easy to remove and attach anywhere, keeping tools, screws, nuts, springs and anything else safely in one place throughout the job. Even if the surface is not metal, the lid has enough grip on it, you can install it on a slope and it prevents your tools from rolling away. Magnets are perfect for use. They have enough grip to hold even heavy tools like my 9" pipe wrench on a vertical surface like my pegboard. But the magnets aren't strong enough to make it difficult to remove the tools when you need them. Highly recommended.
