The light works perfectly. They have been split into 2 spools so it is not a long thread. It only comes with 1 connector and 1 control module that both threads are connected to separately, so you need to manage that. I thought the two posts could be joined into one long strand but that didn't work. It seems that they should be connected to the controller as two separate threads that work independently. Once connected, they mirror each other using patterns. The lights work very well and look great. A remote control also controls both at the same time. I am not aware of any application that could be used. In general, the lights are bright and colorful. Just note that you get 2 separate wires that connect to the same power supply at the same time. You don't get 2 strands connecting into one longer strand.
