This is the second in three months to break after 2-3 uses. I sent the first one back (I thought it was just "lemon") and got another one in return. Then the second did the same. Each time I just drilled a few holes in the wooden post. Then it happened again - she didn't twist the chisel out of the hole. Eventually the drill came out of the cartridge and stayed in the wood. I had to leave the bat in the woods. I inserted another bit to test, but when I tried to remove the bit, the chuck wouldn't let go. I tried for 30 minutes to pull the drill out of the drill but I couldn't. It feels like something inside has been ripped off. Apparently this is a problem with this model. It definitely doesn't live up to the usual Dewalt standards. Because of these issues, I will not be buying a Dewalt drill again.
