Mine stopped working after a month

Well I think it'll be a long time coming back. But only a month later, two batteries are not sufficiently charged or the drill itself does not work. Who knows. All I know is that I don't get paid enough for any work I need. I have to buy another one and this time I will use the big store.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some cons

The battery is not charging. Didn't need much.

Used while lazily. Works fine but the second battery didn't charge like it was sent to me. I've always used the same battery in my backpack, but I had a project last weekend that required me to change the battery multiple times. The second didn't load at all. I'm trying to contact the company so maybe I can send them this broken one or something. I will update the review accordingly. Many Thanks

Beware! Do not buy this drill!

This is the second in three months to break after 2-3 uses. I sent the first one back (I thought it was just "lemon") and got another one in return. Then the second did the same. Each time I just drilled a few holes in the wooden post. Then it happened again - she didn't twist the chisel out of the hole. Eventually the drill came out of the cartridge and stayed in the wood. I had to leave the bat in the woods. I inserted another bit to test, but when I tried to remove the bit, the chuck…

First disappointment Dewalt

I don't use them at work but around the house often enough to have a good one. My previous Dewalt drill lasted about 5 years before one of the batteries failed and the OEM replacement battery cost almost the same as the entire set on this drill. I just had to get the battery for the old one. With both batteries fully charged, I began removing the 3" screws from the 12' x 24' deck. After removing about 1/4 of it, the first battery is dead. The battery is fresh. Same - about 1/4 more away. Note…

Hands down the best drill on the market!

I recently became interested in woodworking in my free time. I've always been a fan of corded tools because I usually work in my shop with access to electricity and absolutely HATE when my batteries die and I have to wait for a charge. A few months ago I needed to build a barn and attach about 50 tin panels 3 feet wide and 15 feet long and I needed to buy a battery powered drill for the job. Let me tell you that I will never go back to network tools after this tool has proven itself. The drill…

I thought Dewalt was a great company and assumed I had a lemon

I had this drill for about 4 weeks when it just stopped working. I thought maybe it was overheating or that the batteries didn't have enough charge, but after letting it sit and charging the batteries again it still wouldn't work properly and shut down after a few seconds. I thought Dewalt was a great company and I thought I had a lemon. The manual I received with the drill says that Dewalt has a 90 day money back guarantee if you are not happy with the drill, no questions asked. I called…

Light, comfortable, good price!

Excellent cordless drill for home use. I was very impressed the first time I used one of these that belonged to a friend. The first thing you will notice is its lightness! These lithium batteries are a smash hit compared to traditional LMWH batteries. The handle is very ergonomic and the controls are easily accessible. Due to the low weight of the battery, the drill feels a bit heavy, but you get used to it quickly. The Jacobs pickup is known for its quality. Haven't tested the spout on mine…
