This kit had the perfect set of fittings and valves to fit a dishwasher and ice maker into an old house. However, the male fitting on the ball valve is not tampered with and will not adhere to the included tee. I've tried both teflon tape and pipe sealant but it was still dripping constantly. The problem is clear, the male end of the ball valve does not taper and is screwed all the way in until the end seats on the tee. This should never happen with NPT fittings. I had to buy a new ball valve to stop the dripping.
