I'm not usually a fan of massage vibrators that require traditional batteries, prefer rechargeable ones. It's not just for convenience, but I find that these types of devices that use AAA batteries tend to lack real power and features. Surprisingly, this device is an exception to that rule. It requires 2 AAA batteries which are not included. Luckily I had two of these batteries (which were meant to replace the batteries in the remote control) in brand new condition. I put them in and encountered some difficulty attaching the end cap. To be honest, it takes more effort and patience than closing the battery door. However, once the compartment is closed, a long press of the power button activates the vibrator. I am very impressed with the performance of the small device. Successive presses of the power button cycle through 10 different speed/pattern settings. The blue light under the power button simulates intensity and patterns, which is a good visual cue. The neck is very flexible, which allows you to tilt the massage head significantly. With more "arch" of the neck, you increase the resulting pressure with increasing vibration intensity (this is a general truth for vibrating massagers, not just this product). The vibrator/massager is covered with soft silicone that feels comfortable. This device comes with a small remote control. Most vibrating massagers are not equipped with a wireless remote control. The dual control remote can efficiently turn on/pause and access 10 different speeds/modes. This remote control has a practical use. I leave that to your personal imagination/creativity. I think they should contain the necessary batteries so that the device can be used once received. You will note that batteries are not included, but not everyone has new AAA spare batteries. Note: One of the pictures in the product description says "travel bag and light weight". No storage/travel bag included. They mean that the device is small and light and easily fits in a small pocket/purse. For those who need a rechargeable device, consider using rechargeable AAA batteries. If you have 4 AAA rechargeable batteries, you can have 2 in the device, two of which can be swapped out when the charge is low. You can then recharge these dead batteries. (By doing this, we intend to solve the battery problem.) In general, it is consistent with the description and pictures in the product details. We are very impressed with the performance and variety of speeds/patterns. It has thoughtful design, high quality materials and workmanship. Attached are pictures showing real images of the vibrator/massager and the remote control. We found this to be a very reliable product, rated 4.5 to 4.75 stars with a very high recommendation.
