I purchased this blouse to wear at Christmas 2020 but wore it recently for an occasion in which the night was going to be cooler & it was a perfect choice. The design is beautiful. I took pictures for reference. I find it very flattering. It’s much looser on me now since Christmas as I’m 15lb. lighter but it still fits well & I’ll continue to wear it. Back then I was 175 & purchased a large. Now I’m 160 with a 36 bust, 5’6” & a medium would be fine. It’s a unique blouse as the sleeves are 3/4” in length with the beautiful touch of a tie at the end. Very pretty! I suggest you tie the arms before putting it on as I learned through trial & error :) I tried to capture the front as I didn’t realize this when I purchased it. The front is open but closes at the top with a small button but is threaded nicely at the bottom. For bigger busted woman you may want to take note to that. There are times if I bend over too much the 2 pieces of material that close do begin to slide open. It’s the one piece I don’t care for much on this blouse but I make a point of being aware of this when I have it on. Because I don’t weigh as much it is looser in the front making it so the front doesn’t lay flat on my body as it did in a large. I feel the right size would be based on your bust in regard to how much you’d like it to lay flat like the model shows vs. having it a bit looser. Also keep in mind how much belly weight you have. Their sizing is basic so I hope my feedback has helped as well as other reviews. Many times it’s going with your typical size blouse. The material is very soft & smooth at 95% polyester 5% spandex. It washes beautifully. No wrinkles & I hang to dry. I’ve never felt the need to iron it. It’s very comfortable to wear & can be worn for many occasions. Also it doesn’t hang on you on its own. There is an elastic type of material at the bottom which makes it more snug to your body. It’s of very good quality & I feel it’s worth what I paid & will have many more wearings. I do recommend this blouse. I love this design.
