We bought these to attach to the legs of our dining room chairs to protect our LVT floors. We tried the kind that just sticks, and after one use they immediately bruised because our chair legs are at an angle to the floor. This is great because they rotate to fit straight on the floor. Advantages: 1. Very easy to install. The instructions tell you which drill to use and the design is intuitive. It only took you about 10 minutes to install them on six dining chairs.2. They do exactly what they're supposed to do: they pivot to lie flush with the ground, and the padding protects our LVT. My husband and I both weigh over 200 pounds and there wasn't a single scratch after they were installed, even when we slid across the floor while seated. They are made to last. The gasket is guaranteed not to come loose, but if it does, you can simply snap off the piece the gasket is attached to and attach a new one.4. You are thin.5. Because a felt pad touches the floor, they glide silently and move easily. Cons: 1. The swivel is rigid so you have to attach it with your hands before putting the chair down.
