I bought this memory kit for my Threadripper system but could not run it consistently at 3600MHz no matter how many settings I made. With a lot of elbow grease I was able to get an absolutely stable 3200MHz frequency (testmem5, memtest HCI Compilation, Prime95, GCC) - it wasn't easy. However, since the difference in performance between the 3200 and 3600 is minimal, this is still acceptable. I fully understand that reaching 3600MHz cannot be guaranteed on every system as it is very dependent on the IMC CPU silicon and motherboard. Note, however, that this may require some work even if you want to use a medium speed. Full Specifications: CPU: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix TRX40-XERRAM: This G.Skill kit 256GB 3600MHz PSU: Thermaltake 1200W iRGB Platinum How I got 3200 fully stable: - Apply XMP profile to 3600 - reset to 3200 - change DRAM voltage from 1.35 -> 1.36 - set EVERY time according to uploaded screenshot (leave nothing on AUTO except TRFC2/4 ) (I found that AUTO on tertiary timings causes the Motherboard sets inconsistent values for different channels and thus causes memtest errors) - Check the settings with all applicable tests. All in all, I'd recommend this memory kit to people who need 256GB of RAM or just want to protect their workstation in the future knowing it's hitting the advertised speeds is a gamble.
