i don't have much meat on my bones so i'm always cold. in the winters, since my windows are old and there's a bad draft, i sometimes turn on two space heaters in addition to the old building's heat. my last down comforter needed updating, as the feathers would not evenly distribute warmth as they moved around unfortunately. so i had been on the hunt for something with a high down count, willing to spend a decent amount of money. upon delivery of this new item, i was skeptical. in its bag, it looked measly. i was ready to return it, but decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and let the feathers expand some on my bed. when i saw it filling up, i decided to open the whole thing up. within the day, the comforter filled out into the most warm thing ever (that i know of). it's not too heavy either. the true test i guess is its durability, which is too soon to tell. i've used this since the beginning of the year, even in the summer, but haven't washed it yet (that would be more telling!
