I think the most important thing to know about this product is where and how to use it. The product documentation states that it is not to be used in freezing conditions or temperatures above 96 degrees Fahrenheit. As long as you follow these guidelines you will be happy. This is very handy for use in ponds to feed a filter or waterfall (although there are reasonable limits to the height of the waterfall). But you can't leave it in a frozen pond. The pump is not intended for this. It would also be useful for a serious aquarium setup, but 660 GPH is a high flow rate for most aquariums. I've used it for a hydroponic setup I have indoors which isn't pretty so I'm not including a picture but it works great. very happy!
