I bought this item to replace a Daewoo VCR that didn't have as many features as this one. I downloaded the user manual from the Internet. My main problem was with the manual. There were no instructions on how to set up daily/weekly recording - so I bought a VCR. After using the Mongolian Horde's method of pressing random buttons on the remote control, I finally figured it out. I also figured out how to remove the timer event. The best thing about this DVD/VCR is that it doesn't have the audio distortion that I had with Daewoo. I bought other VCRs last year but this Keeper.
