I have a 14 foot V-shaped fishing boat and I always spill drinks when I move the boat on the water. I bought these to put next to my seat with my passengers in front. Installation was as simple as drilling a hole in the seat and applying some silicone around the perimeter of the cup holder and then dropping it into the hole. The holders have tape around them to fasten, but mine arrived twisted. I also felt that the tapes were too small to hold the holders securely. Otherwise the quality of these holders is really good and they hold bottles, mugs or glasses very well. I would recommend them and buy them again.
