The product is only intended for right-opening screen doors.

This item is only for the right screen door. If the catch had been different, it could have been changed. Also, the button is black instead of white as shown in the picture. In the picture it is shown as the left opening handle. The description does not indicate correct opening except returns. I bought 3 handles for 2 different houses, all 3 doors open to the left.
