I can buy these at local stores but the price is MUCH more for less per pack. I love how quickly I can now put on a necklace or bracelet without having to ask for help. Haven't lost one either. I would like to mention that you should not try to separate the magnets directly. A couple of my thin necklaces broke before the magnets exploded! Simply slide the magnet halves past each other in opposite directions to release the grip. The delivery was much faster than stated in the description, which made me very happy. I've bought them a few times as gifts for friends of the same age who also have trouble putting the jewelry on and off.
