Review on K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: Boost Performance & Horsepower for 2014-2018 Jeep Cherokee, 3.2L V6 - 77-1569KS by Terrance Singletary

I was looking at other budget air intake options. I decided I wanted to try K&N as I see their logo everywhere and just want to see if it lives up to their reputation. If you look at the fuel economy photo I took, for me it's at least a 2mpg improvement if I can keep my foot on the gas. But that's a problem now. My Cherokee was always slacking on the gas pedal. I could press the pedal to the floor and then immediately release it and the engine would never rev up. Once I put that air intake in there, it made a world of difference. Now I am very happy with the performance but you must be careful as it will result in loss of MPG gain. ;) It also sounds much better. Crank it right up and you'll hear a raspy growl that makes it sound very different from the manual Jeep it was. I highly recommend this if you need a little extra cranking or throttle power, or just a little extra mileage. This is important on long journeys.
