As a beginner in the art of wet shaving AND as someone with very sensitive skin I have been pleased with this blade. Make no mistake, that's a razor blade. It's spicy! However, I immediately felt comfortable with him and he wasn't overly aggressive. Not a single bump, scratches, cuts or razor rash of any kind after my first test. I would recommend this to people with sensitive skin (especially people of color) and definitely anyone new to wet shaving. This blade goes very well with my Merkur 34c, but I don't see it working badly with a double-edged razor. SENSITIVE SKIN / BEGINNERS: Take your time! No rush. Short, precise shots. Study the contours of your face and follow the grain. These blades remove thick, coarse, frizzy hair. Be patient and enjoy the process.
