Great product, a pleasure to use.

Bought a Cordiant Road Runner 195/65/R15 instead of stock Dunlop SP Sport 300 on a Peugeot 307sw. I travel very little - mostly for the soul, family - for pleasure. Skiing, cycling, repairs, cottages, sometimes for work. I drive within 110 km/h on normal roads and 130 km/h on motorways. Chose by reviews of people and tests. Reviews about Cordiant were generally good, many noted that the rubber rides comfortably, slows down well. What else do I need? But the auto magazine tests showed that everything is average, the consumption is huge, the tires are not outstanding. But everything is in ideal conditions, and the difference is very small in terms of performance from the leaders. What can I say in general after a run of 1000 km: After Dunlop, the tire is much softer, quieter, brakes great and rows well in the mud. As I understand it, automakers sometimes put on hard tires, pump them over (I have 2.5 atmospheres on my passport) - the car drives a little more economically on Dunlop, but it shakes out the whole soul and suspension of the car, as if you were sliding on asphalt with your bare fifth point. But Cordiant eats these bumps. I go and just rejoice. Silence (can not hear tires at all) and softness, began to enjoy driving! Of the minuses of the tire, it feels quite heavy, and at first the computer showed increased fuel consumption during acceleration, and the first kilometers seemed to slow down by itself. But gradually she broke in and went easily. At the same time, the grip is excellent, rulitsya nice. I didn’t try any demolitions and drifts, tests to identify lateral stiffness, because I don’t know how. I can recommend this tire to those who calmly drive on asphalt of medium scall, sometimes drive on the ground, who have a rigid European suspension in the car (to mitigate this effect), drive at medium speeds and load. For sports, you need sports tires, sports cars with sports suspension, and not on a station wagon overloaded from a traffic light to light! As for the speed of wear, hernias, I can’t say anything yet, we’ll wait and see.

Pros
  • Excellent brakes on any surface (dry, dusty, wet asphalt) Soft Quiet Handles heavy loads well Good handling for a quiet ride well balanced Price
Cons
  • More fuel consumption than hard tires Heavy - the car accelerates longer
