I had high hopes for them but they were mostly disappointing. Hummus or cottage cheese or yogurt. They hold about 2 tablespoons at the absolute maximum. The tips will curl up, but the "thread" is really just a few tiny cuts, and it's very easy to not close it just right and then your sauce will spill all over the place. Especially if your sauce is oily and makes the container a bit slippery. This has happened enough times that I don't believe these containers are airtight. I always put them in a different container or bag. As other reviewers have pointed out, food can get stuck on or under the silicone seal. It's possible to take the gasket out and wash it, but that's annoying and even more annoying to get the silicone on properly. I still use these containers which is why I gave them 3 stars. But I wouldn't recommend it and I wouldn't buy it again, especially at the price.
