Not worth the price as Otterbox bought them out.

This probably matches most of the reviews you have seen on this product. The build quality of the case is not what it used to be. Previously, their cases were fantastic and held certain hopes for the name. It falls so far short of those expectations that it's not even funny. Not only is there virtually no grip, especially the 12 Pro Max version given its size, but made from smooth plastic with very little rubber, it's slippery and even falls out of pockets, especially with the extra girth. People buy cases to keep their slippery phones in their pockets and for many other reasons. Also, the plastic screen protector is rubbish, and the display has rows of little dots that are visible no matter what brightness level you set your display to. Buy these cases, use your phones first and bought this case for that purpose. Also, Face ID doesn't work unless you open the case and see a small plastic sticker in front of the front camera, which you can peel off with your fingernail and then wipe the adhesive off, and Face ID will work fine again. Users don't need to modify the case to get full functionality of their $1,000+ device after paying $90 for the case. also the waterproof seal is useless if you ever want to take the phone out of the case after the first installation, the rubber grommet pops out of the rear frame, and it's nearly impossible to get it back into the groove without one of the corners getting stuck. back in, back out, kind of annoying when you pull the sheet over yourself. In general, don't waste your money in this business unless you're rich and don't have the money to throw it away and bet on a potentially worthless cause. I used it for 2 days and since then it's been sitting here on my desk in a box and I got a different case. This case isn't even worth $20 let alone $90. I could see a case with all these problems if it was $20 but that's four times the price. Otterbox, if you happen to be reading this, go back and see the original LifeProof designs and how they made their cases. and then do not add your own data or modify it in any way other than to accommodate new devices. Stay true to LifeProof's original roots. Their cases are junk, which is why people buy LifeProof at first; However, you got your greedy little hands off the company, downgraded everything to the crappy quality of your cases, and left them at $90. this is disappointing. They saved and kept the original price of the boxes, not lowered just to make more money, and thought people wouldn't notice...we ALL noticed. Especially longtime fans of LifeProof. I'm not the type who tears businesses apart and usually never leaves reviews but for a wasted $90 if I do landscaping and need this case to be reliable I can't help but say it's not worth it. and had to speak up hoping to save another user from making the same mistake and losing almost a hundred dollars.
