Now I understand why these things are so expensive.
There are certain conditions where nothing else can match the efficiency of grinding. When sanding small parts or intricate parts I start at the outside edges and corners of the pad and trim them if they are less effective and nothing beats when sanding primer on automotive projects and throughout the job. A quick flush with an air hose and they're back to working like new in no time.
