I have an enclosed litter box and over time my cats urinate on the inside walls (and sometimes urine leaks out of the litter box). Your nose can obviously tell, but your eyes CANNOT! I've already tried cleaning the box with wipes (in between deep cleanings) but as it turns out I actually missed quite a bit of pee. Even a few small drops of urine can have a very bad odor, and wiping down the entire box for just one drop is like looking for a needle in a haystack. But with this flashlight, I can pinpoint EXACTLY where that urine stain is and clean it up quickly and easily without wiping the whole box or guessing. This keeps the litter box cleaner for longer, which is good for everyone - for you because of the smell and for your cats because they're less likely to refuse to use a dirty litter box. Do you want to use a toilet soiled with urine? I wouldn't either! Other great things: It also works like a regular flashlight and you can make the field of view big or small. It can be charged or run on AAA batteries and is very well made. I would give more stars if I could. I really don't know how I've been collecting kitty litter without this for 20+ years. Warning: If you have a really old carpet, be aware that you are going to REALLY hate shining a flashlight on it and you will see all the old stains.
