Here's the solution. Technically it is plug and play. However, if you have a Tahoe, Yukon, or Escalade, you must acquire it first. The instructions say to remove the seats and center console but I found a youtube video where someone drilled a few holes in the metal cover under the center console and above the booster to access 2 hidden screws. Super trouble, but GM is to blame. this amp is great! Note: The best way to tell if the amplifier is bad is to check if the doorbell is working. If the stereo is on but there is no sound or no doorbell? Replace amplifier.
